Making income Blogging??

Yes, as you read in the title, there are various ways to make money blogging (whether in your blog or on another one).

http://www.doshdosh.com/how-to-make-money-blogging-seven-strategies/

There are seven strategies to generate income, such as advertise on your blog, subscribe into Pay-to-Post sites, be part of Blog Networks and more.

Most of them can't be characterized as Passive Income generators because you need to write posts depending on the needs. But with a considerable daily audience in your blog, you can earn $15 a day from each blog.

So why not starting in the paid blogging world?

NOTE: Some of the sites where you can subscribe will ask you to be over 18 years old to start blogging.

Selling Stuff on Internet

" Can I pay you $15?"

Have you ever wondered, what if at least 1000 people purchases a product from you for $15 each ?

The answer is -

You will then be having $1500 in cash with you, within hours or days. (or $15000 if all of them buy it)

The reason why each customer will purchase your product from you for $15 is because each one of them could make lightening fast $15000 cash by purchasing the product from you and reselling it.

So a $15 product will be a fortune here.

And which product can you sell?

Book reviews, analysis, e-books...

You just have to buy an e-book, write a 200 page review, design a nice cover and sell it!
Also you can allocate your writings depending on your customers' preference.

Money Making Plan

This post will join most of the previous ideas (PPC, PTC, SEO...) and make one big complex system which generates passive income even when you are not managing it directly.

Would be very helpful to have an account in a PTC site (NeoBux) and have some money made on it, this will be the money we will invest on advertising. The money has to be stored in an electronic money saving service (PayPal, Alertpay...). If you have one of these two, it's a great advantage here.

First of all we need to set up a web site. So here comes the first decision, the topic.
The site needs to attract visitors, so we need it to be:
  • Easy navigable. A clean interface for the user.
  • Eye-pleasant. All the elements must be in harmony.
  • The topic must be one which people constantly search.
  • The topic must not have big (site) competitors.
  • Dynamic. The content has to be updated constantly.
Let's suppose we have a blog where we post about online market solutions.
So first of all we need to gather as much information as possible to schematize the order of ideas in posts.

Once we set up our site we need visitors on it. The first idea that comes up in our minds is placing it on Google results page. If you remember, this process it's called SEO (Search Engine Optimization). And the most direct method is with Google Adwords. We can also place it on You-Cubez (or other advertising site).
Here we need the money, to Pay per each Click our site receives. We set up how much money we will pay and wait the visitors to come.

After we have a constant daily flux of visitors, we can add Google AdSense gadgets to our site. Each click our visitors make on them will generate revenue to us. This would be the first percentage of our income.

Then we can try selling some e-books from our page. So we create a dedicated site to sell e-books (a request form, a PayPal gadget and some information) and link it to our blog (main page). So each time our visitors come by our blog, they will visit the e-books site.

A proper research of which topic customers search most on e-books needs to be done in order to select the books' topic. It's not strictly necessary, we can just get e-books orientated to our blog activity (Online market solutions).

So we just sit in front of our PC's and start writing about online markets, online money making, online business...
Also we need to put copyright on them.
We design a pretty cover, we choose an attractive title and we save it. Then we need to expose it on our e-book selling site and wait customers to buy it.

As simple, this is a good model of money making. If we calculate how many visitors we have daily on our page, we can figure out how much money we will earn by AdSense and e-books.

Works as Intermediary

Probably it's the simplest way to generate passive income.

Being an intermediary involves introducing some business opportunities to customers. So how can we apply that?

If we have a web site we can introduce services and products to our customers and generate money by taking commissions from these sales.

It's also called Online Affiliate Business.

For example we have a blog where we publish posts about buying shares. We also can offer our visitors to contact the shares sellers on their behalf and ask some money on its behalf.

Simple. As a Home Business.

You-Cubez: Advertise and Earn Money

You-Cubez.com is an unique online marketing concept for users and affiliates to advertise their websites and campaigns whilst earning money online.

They have two major divisions: advertising and money earning.

The advertising works similar to The Million Dollar Homepage. Instead of working with pixels, they use Cubes. You can buy a cube for £1.00 and link your page on it.Then you can invest money on it so your cube gets more propaganda, level and value (increasing visits on your page).

And of you decide not to own a cube, you can just use the advertisement browsing. Some cubes give money to you if you click on them and check the advertisement for a few seconds.

They also offer different ways to earn cube funds, money you can invest on your cubes so their value increase (and their price). Also you can trade your cube. You can sell it and use the money in your stuff. They offer you money if you subscribe in some web sites.

If you subscribe to Google AdSense you first have to invest money for then making profit. But if you subscribe in You-Cubez you can first earn some money clicking on ads and then investing it on Advertisements.

If you want to do so, just sign in, You-Cubez.com is your best choice.

AdSense: Advertise Your Site

Worried because your web site hasn't got enough visitors?
Do you want people around the Internet to follow your blog?

If you ask yourself these questions, you should take a look on Google AdSense. Google offers us an application where we can submit our web page into their database and then it will be displayed on web pages related to our site - as long as they have the AdSense box. Each click our web site receives, a small amount we have to pay to Google. It's called PPC (Pay Per Click) so we pay only if our ad is clicked, and not by period of time.

So for submitting our site into Google AdSense we need to have a Google Account and link it to AdSense service, specify our address (where we will receive the payment) and pay when required. Also they have a feature, over a certain number of clicks, Google will give you back a percentage of the earnings (e.g. 5% over 200 clicks) making some revenue for you. So if you do this on many sites and receiving more percentage, you will earn a considerable amount of money weekly.

AdWords: be in Google Results

What do we really know about how Google finds your web site and displays it on its results?

Google (and other Search Engines) use various methods to locate your web site in their results list, such as Robots (who check the Meta Tags to allocate the key words) or paid services.

One of these paid services (from Google) is called AdWords, it consists in submitting your web site into Google data base and pay the quantity you decide for getting the placement in the results. The more you pay, the closer to first result you get.

The first step to getting in AdWords is creating an account.
  • So we go in the Google AdWords site (click on link)
  • We have to Sign In, so we click on the button "Sign up for AdWords online"
  • Then we have to specify whether we have or not a Google Account and if we want to associate it with AdWords. If you don't have a Google Account you will need to create one (in the same page you can do it)
  • So we write our User Name and Password and we sign in.
  • Then we have to submit our web site address.
  • Following you need to set up the key words (when someone search something on Google, the search words are used as key words to compare with meta tags, etc.)
  • Also we have to set how much we want to pay daily to Google so they locate our results.
And we are done! We will pay as much as we specified before, for the time we had choosen.

So easy, that would increase the number of visits on our blog or web site, and we can take profit from it (Google AdSense)

Business Plan

For my homework I have been asked to design a business plan for the Lapdesk product. The lapdesk is made by Hebden Design Ltd (which is not me) and this is a picture of the lapdesk. What follows is my idea of a business plan:

HEBDEN DESIGN LIMITED
LAPDESK
Business Plan.

INTRODUCTION

This business plan is intended for show the general ideas and methods we will use to promote our product and get as most profit as possible. It will contain analysis of both market and organization, in order to clarify the modus operandi when the business starts.

The Lapdesk is a very useful product that is both healthy and practical, and it can be highly spread in the business environment, mainly in meetings and related activities. It will improve the comfort of businessman and with it, the results of concentrating in the meetings will be shown: more participation, mental and body relax.

We are in an age of innovation. Each product which goes on the market and offers a new way to get a task done is widely accepted. The human needs to feel new emotions and explore new fields of thinking. Combining a folder and a portable table which offers the best angle to write without compromising the user's back health means an original and innovative way to take care about your back and increasing the performance in concentration. Again, the principal market would be businessman and meeting guests, where you don't have a flat and firm surface to write notes.

Beginning by investing a considerable quantity, buying a huge number of Lapdesks, the buying process should be contacting directly the original vendor and getting the desired number of products to market with. The selling process will be both online shopping and retailers distribution, which will buy stock by mass and sell for earning profit for them and paying a percentage to the distributor (this business). TV advertising and TV Sales will be also considered as a selling process.

This business differs from competition in various points: first, this business will have special offers on mass sales to main companies and main retail stores, and also we will add the TV Sales, for non-businessman customers who want to try the benefits of the product. We offer more variety of getting this product.

MARKET ANALYSIS

As said in the introduction, this business' market orientation will be businessman and other people who periodically assist to meetings, conferences and other activities of the same branch, as they involve sitting on a chair, taking out a notepad and write tips about the speakers' ideas. Also independent buyers who want to take advantage of innovative ideas, or stop to compromise their backs when sitting in an unhealthy position. Customers which have this need will be the main target of the sales; that will be the final user, the one who wants the product to use it.

The next market level will be the retailers. Retailers are the first economic entity after the consumer. They are the ones who are in contact with the market, so they can modify (stopping or accelerating) the Wholesalers' and producers' marketing and merchandising activities. Those would be stationers, technology stores (laptop stores) and other smaller and independent sellers. Our business will distribute directly the products to these stores, avoiding the process and cost of hire a third party distributor and ensuring the effectiveness of the business. They won't be the major target of sales because the control of the product selling and the marketing pass to their hands unless they specify they want advertising help, which is a secondary point in the business; so the constant distribution of products depends on the selling ability of the retailers.

Other wholesalers will be also a minor market target. There is no good point to focus the business on them because the longer is the way for getting to the final customer, the more expensive the product gets. The sales to other wholesalers will be made only if a good offer is given from them, in both quantity and price. Again, those organizations won't be the centre of the market because they also can become competitors if they decide to get the same product from the producer itself.

The main sales will be on big companies who care about their employees' comfort, we can advertise our product directly in those companies, because they appear as a profitable mass sales objective.

Preferentially we will offer mass sales to those customers who express desire to get lots of our products, due to the investment amount on the Lapdesk. Mass sales gives a great advantage to a distributor (our business) because increasing the original price by 10% generates a considerable profit. And also when marketing the product, the rise of the price seems negligibly. Two great benefits (ease of marketing and profit multiplication) obtained by only one feature – mass sales.

As the Lapdesk stands for an innovative product, and focusing its sales to the stationery and meetings guests, it matches the Diversification description, as the Ansoff's Matrix explains. Diversification implies showing up a new product in a new market (for the company)

PEST ANALYSIS

Political:
Lapdesk trade right will be negotiated with Hebden Designs Limited, in case they exist. The business will start as a local trading, so neither international issues nor major political affairs should appear in the process. The trade policies would be generated in the moment when our company deals with the producer (Hebden Designs).

Economical:
A possible concession of taking part in the manufacturing of the Lapdesk will be considered, a partnership with the producer company. The investment could be 50% of the budget, as economical support for the manufacturing, as the other half would be invested in buying directly the products for making profit from them.

The taxation process should not be a barrier for the business, it will be paid with a percentage of the profit.

Seasonal issues are non-existent. The Lapdesk is not influenced by seasonal buying, neither for weather issues. Is a product for indoor use (meeting rooms, conference halls, trains, air planes, classrooms...) so its functionality is for the whole year.

The market routes are two:
From our company to...
Final Customers. This process is direct, by internet or TV Sales, using the company's distribution team.
Main Companies. Here we sell mass quantities of Lapdesks to private (or public) companies who wish to take advantage of the product giving it to its employees (e.g. Law Firms). The final customer will be the company's employee.
Retailers. Again selling mass quantities, the retailers will sell the products to the final customer, making the Lapdesk more expensive (the retailer has to generate profit).

As a local business, interest and exchange rates do not apply.

Social:
The costumers' attitude will change, they won't buy just any folder to store their files, but they will buy Lapdesks to also help their back when taking notes in a place where they don't have any firm support but their laps.

Also will change a little bit the lifestyle, because the customers will care more about their own health and they will search for products which provides functional features and innovative ways to complete a task.

The original brand and manufacturing company doesn't helps at all because the Hebden Designs is a small company and also in virtual bankrupt, so socially it is a negative point.

Technological:
In this topic, the Lapdesk is not the big deal. Its materials are the same of common file folders. The only different thing is the design (the two side supports) but this is not considered a major technological upgrade. Also its patent is still pending, so anyone can copy the design, make it better, sell it and generate more money than its original “competitor”.

NOTE: The above is just my idea of a business plan for the lapdesk. This is not my product and I do not sell it. Neither do I represent Hebden Design

Ways to make money online

There are lots of activities you can do online to earn money. All of them require from you perseverance, because you start those business with no precedents. You are a real newbie. So, here are a couple of ways for you to start in business, generating passive income, and some of them can generate a profitable business.

  1. Pay Per Clicks. (and other CPA's) As explained before, it's matter of time, paying each time someone clicks on your web site, and earning a percentage after a number of clicks.

  2. e-Books. It's simple: you look for a book on internet (ebook) and read it. Then you can sell it on ebay. Also you can write a book about your favourite topic and sell it. You don't pay for printing, just for copy protection.

  3. Selling web sites. If you are good at web design, you can produce a series of templates and sell them. You can use ebay, amazon, yahoo or your own method.

  4. Design logos for companies. Start your own web page and make a name for yourself as a good logo designer. Some customers will come to you for getting a good image for their sites, products, companies... and if you're lucky, your customers could be (small) companies.

It's all mater of desire. If you desire to generate money on internet, you will find more ways to do it.

NeoBux: The Innovation in PTC

Last time i just summarized the operation of PPC's; the company (reflected on the site) pays you some cents for clicking links and taking a look of the advertisement. The more advertisements you click, more money you earn, so simple.

Neobux is one of all the PPC (also known as PTC, that stands for Pay to Click) existing on the Internet. But be careful, most of the sites scam you, they don't pay you when they have to.

Neobux has good payment proofs, you can find some in NeoBux Forum.
Also:
Payment proof 1.
Payment proof 2.

As you see, NeoBux figures in the most trustworthy PTC sites, it means they really PAY when you reach the payment deadline, and if you have earned the minimum payment quantity, $2.

In NeoBux you earn money for clicking advertisements and taking a look of the web page for 30 seconds. After the time runs out, $0.01 will be credited to your account.

Then you can have referrals. What are those? A referral is an user who generates money for you, each of its advertisement click generates $0.01 to him and $0.005 to you. It's a kind of employee.

You can have three kinds of referrals:
  • Direct Referral: when you persuade a friend of yours to participate in NeoBux (speaking directly to him) and he signs up in the system, he will do that thanks to you, so you earn 50% of the credit he generates.
  • Rented Referral: you can rent a random NeoBux user for 30 days which will work as a direct referral.
  • Bought Referral: paying a little bit more, you can have a random user to generate money for you forever. As if it was a Direct Referral, but buying it (like an employee)
Obviously the first week you won't generate much money, because you have a limited number of advertises per day, but when you collect enough money you can rent some referrals and the earnings will be multiplicated.

It's just a matter of time, like every investment, you have to 'sacrifice' something to have profit from it.

Will you try?

Think And Grow Rich - Chapter Two

Think and Grow Rich - Chapter Two (pdf). On this chapter, N. Hill explains deeply the power of desire in the achievement of our goals. "Desire, The Starting Point Of All Achievement" means that you have to mix the will for gaining something with the possibility of getting it. All the great inventors had a big desire to materialize their ideas, that's why they succeeded in their tasks. Edison, Marconi, Volta, the Wright brothers... All of them wanted so much to reach their dreams.

That is the second key point in business, dream. Don't be afraid to be a big dreamer, because the more you dream, the more you want to reach success. You need to meddle with your dreams, ideas, beliefs so they become part of you. "There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing until he or she believes it can be acquired." as the book says.

Also it insists on the fact that each crisis carries an opportunity after it. Bad things have to be balanced with good things, so no bad circumstance comes without a posterior reward. It's the basis of equilibrium, every system has its own methods to counteract the variations by setting up something of equal magnitude and opposite sense.

"Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” That means we can make things happen if and only if we wish them to be done, if we act with passion and perseverance to achieve them.

The example given in the book of the last statement is the author's own son. He was born with no ears - he should be deaf mute - but with his parents' desire of teaching him how to hear and speak, adding hard effort and perseverance, the boy could hear and speak. At the end, the hearing skill was improved with a technological aid, so he supported the manufacturing company to create best ways to help deaf mutes. His parents' effort was worth.

The Big Idea Book

Do you think that there aren't new things to be developed in the world? If you do, you are wrong. The Big Idea Book was published after the initiative of the web site Idea a Day, which each day received an idea which could be developed and transformed into a profitable business, or just would help to change the world in a certain way.

500 of the best ideas in the web page were taken and compiled into this book, ranging from intelligent gadgets to absurde inventions.

It's a good way to motivate your creativity, thanks to people who shared their ideas with the rest of the world.

Pay To Click

Making money always seems hard. The idea of setting up a business from scratch does not gives a good inspiration to start in the money making world. But business involves not only physical trading, doing something and getting paid for it; you can earn some pounds by using Pay-to-Click systems.

And what are the PTC's?
It's simple: earn money by visiting web pages. Does it sounds hard? You just have to sign in, configure your payment account and start browsing! Monthly, your account balance will be credited to your payment location. Most of the PPC sites request the user to specify a PayPal account to credit the earnings. Then you can transfer the money from PayPal to your bank account, just paying a little fee for the transaction.

If you focus on working with PTC, first you need to check if the site has payment proof because the internet is full of fake sites, scamming users. Is better to start with well known sites as Neobux, You-Cubez.

Each service has different payment rates and dates. You can read more information on their own sites. And some of them offer a referral service: you can buy (forever), rent (30 days) or refer the page to a friend so he creates his account thanks to you. Each of those will generate money for each page they visit, 50% of the income that each click will generate to them. So the point is have more referrals and click daily so the activity becomes profitable.

Think And Grow Rich - Introduction

Think & Grow Rich - Introduction (pdf) Such an amazing book if you feel that you were not born for business, when everything goes bad or when you just don't achieve what you want... Through diverse anecdotes, the author gives you tips to get trough those eventualities, and how to find the answers in your own life, even in a single decision you have to make you can earn a valuable knowledge, applicable to life, to future decisions you will make, and to improve your business or start a new one.

In the introduction chapter, N. Hill explains that a defeat can not be the boundary of your will to achieve a goal. The will has to be the power to keep working for getting what you want.

Most of the times, a 'no' answer does not means a real 'NO', and we have to learn how to know that and how to overcome that apparent defeat. The author explains with a passage of a child asking for money, who faces an intelligent old man who first doesn't want to give 0.50$ to the child - under the sentence '50 cents for my mom' - but after the child insistence and innocence, the old man gave the girl what she was asking for. Also says that the old man sat in front of the window for 10 minutes, thinking...

The key point is the power of the will to achieve our goals, we own our destiny and we can make things happen.

Lapdesk

30 Days Business (Pre-IB) post about Lapdesk

a. modify the product
Unless a profitable business is set for the product, modifying it can be considered as risky, because all modifications made have to be paid with the initial budget, so it will increase the price of the product and reduce sales.

b. market the product
For marketing it, the sales field would be Health and Businessman, so the product would be sold at health products stores, in meetings at a low price (can include a sample gift - increase slightly its cost) and in airports/train stations stores.

A wider promotion is surely necessary, it has not been promoted so much for being invested with £25,000.

Four Ideas to start a business

Umbrella Vending Machines
Ideal for England, where rain is seen everywhere it's a business which has a great demand but it has to balance the quality and so the price, for selling in vending machines. It can be largely exploded and linked to other business as umbrella brands, so it generates a business network.

CONCEPT: In rainy cities, vending machines selling cheap umbrellas are strategically placed to maximise the need for protection from the rain.
STRENGTHS: If located in busy subway/train stations, shopping or business areas, like big buildings, sales should be outstanding; the owner does not need to be present to operate
business; unique form of vending machine; no competition; senior-friendly small business.
WEAKNESSES: Dependent on rainy weather; the need to secure strategic locations for maximum sales; specialised nature of machines in terms of servicing.
ADVANTAGES: England is mostly rainy so the market for the idea is large, and highly populated cities are also exposed to heavy rains.
DISADVANTAGE: prices of the umbrellas cannot be high because vending machines are not intended to earn much money for each product.

Wind Turbines for Homes
A great business is convincing the consumer that he can save money by paying less on house bills (electricity, water...) so having a wind turbine at home for auto-supplying electricity to it generates a wide action field. But the idea to have big machines at home does not seems very accepted...

CONCEPT: Electricity-generating micro wind turbines have never been smaller, cheaper or easier to install than they are today. Undoubtedly they will become even more so in the future. Given the rise of eco-consumerism, selling these green energy creators looks like the basis of an excellent small business. A little known fact is that homes are actually much bigger polluters of our environment than cars.
STRENGTHS: Eco-consciousness friendly; relatively cheap; easy to fit; feelgood factor. WEAKNESSES: Competitors; need for showroom; constantly developing technologies that need to be followed.

Smoothie/Juice Bar Operator
Against a busy life, refreshing with natural soft drinks is a great idea, more if the quality is good, the consumer will not be disgusted for paying a little bit more for the product. But will it sell the quantities it needs to generate profit? A good marketing is needed to do so.

CONCEPT: In high traffic locations, fresh juice and Smoothie bars offer instant cashflow and plenty of retail action to a small business entrepreneur. According to Boost Juice, for example, their franchisees sell a collective total of 1 million juice drinks every month.
STRENGTHS: Dynamic; instant business when properly sited in high traffic area; small business ‘footprint’; constant cashflow given its impulse-buying nature.
WEAKNESSES: Start-up costs; staffing; franchise costs if that option pursued (copying them and keeping all proceeds would be a better option).

Business Computer Relocator
In these times almost everything is automatized, and those processes involves a computer. Computer issues needs to be solved, so investing on the field of solving computer issues (as relocating, backing up, technical service...) is a profitable business. But will you find enough qualified staff to do the job?

CONCEPT: When businesses need to relocate, one specialized aspect of this move is the safe and orderly dismantling, transportation and re-installation of their computer systems. This is a very lucrative area of IT small business and for the tech-literate, an excellent potential small business.
STRENGTHS: Home-based; low overheads (apart from vehicles – which could be hired specifically for each job); networking opportunities with clients (no pun intended).
WEAKNESSES: Canvassing of businesses initially, Yellow Pages advertising essential including online + on Google; staffing; low repeat business cycle as businesses don’t move that often.

Marketing Plan - Rotating Spaghetti Fork

Luigi's Rotating Spaghetti Fork

This product is an particular item never seen before. A fork provided with a low strength engine and two batteries slots which make the fork rotate. Offers an innovative and easier way to eat the spaghetti. It saves the user's effort to roll its fork to get a good spaghetti bite, which almost every time goes bad.

The sales of the product should be high, because of the number of forks sold to each costumer – as much as the number of forks a cutlery set has. The preferred sales method would be group selling, and number offers (buy X get Y free). And for buying the forks, the customer will get four batteries free (affiliated to a battery producer brand)

Investing on this product has one great goal: earn by innovate. A non-precedent idea which finds almost no competition should get the whole market at its favour. But the initial budget wouldn't be so high for external investors because the business has not been proved yet. So the initial price cannot be too high, should be just the product cost plus a little bit for revenue. If the business is profitable, a major investment should be necessary.

Promoting the product will be by:

TV ads, private publicity

Publicity linked to “As Seen on TV” stores

Internet ads

Stock sales by internet (charging the sending)

For marketing the product, the strategy will be product differentiation, give something new to the customers, generating the desire to try it – a perfect method to increase the sales.
